Get to Know Us
“100 Women” is a “giving circle,” comprised of 100+ women who have a heart for giving. Members come from all walks of life but share a common goal of helping others in McIntosh County. We are a group of ordinary individuals who can collectively make an extraordinary impact on our coastal community.

Who Joins?
100 Women is for you if…

-
You recognize that there are great needs in McIntosh County and wish to support the local organizations striving to meet those needs.

-
You are willing to commit to a donation of $400 a year/$100 per quarter or $200/$50 per quarter for junior members (under 40).

-
You want 100% of your $400 or $200 donation to go directly to local charities.

-
You have a big heart and want to be part of a caring and amazing group of women who wish to better the lives of those who live in our community.
How it Works
1
Each member commits to donating $400 per year for a period of one year. Renewals will be made in February. If a $400 single payment is a financial burden, arrangements may be made for $100 payments on a quarterly basis. One hundred percent of the $400 donation will go to deserving non-profits in McIntosh County. For those under 40, a junior membership is an option at half the regular dues. Donations are tax deductible.

Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation has graciously agreed to partner with 100 Women to handle administration, and donations may be made online at [link] or checks may be mailed to:

The group meets quarterly in February, May, August and November at the Tabby House in Darien. The business meeting will be one hour or less, but time is allotted for socializing before and after the business meeting. At the meeting, three local non-profits will make a short presentation. The attending members will vote, and the winning organization will be awarded the quarterly grant.
